However, passion for food, following Barnacle Bill recipes and directions from your Head Cook is essential to maintaining and delivering the Barnacle Bill high standard of food and customer service standards.

Main Responsibilities

  • Measuring out meal ingredients according to a recipe
  • Prepping various ingredients such as fish, chicken
  • Collaborating with the Cook to prepare meals.
  • Cooking and presenting meals as per the recipes
  • Cleaning up the kitchen space after cooking each meal and ensuring the prep are and kitchen is cleaned and sanitized at the end of each shift.
  • Update the stock records.
  • Rotate and use stock as per procedures. 
  • Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures
  • Communicate to Cook stock levels.

  • Customer Satisfaction – Achieve a minimum 90% customer satisfaction rate on food quality and timing for service delivery this includes wait times for customers when ordering and collecting food.
  • Relationships – Build strong internal relationships consistent with the Company values, this is measurable by means of general feedback.
